当事者視点に立った女性のヘルスケアや医療情報について執筆、講演を行う。乳がんサバイバーでもあり、がんやがん検診の啓発活動を行う。著書に『医者に手抜きされて死なないための患者力』（講談社）、『もう我慢しない！ おしもの悩み ～40代からの女の選択』（オークラ出版）、『女性ホルモンパワー』（だいわ文庫）ほか多数。NPO法人「女性医療ネットワーク」理事。NPO法人「乳がん画像診断ネットワーク(BCIN)」副理事長。ＮＰＯ法人「みんなの漢方」理事長。NPO法人日本医学ジャーナリスト協会会員。
Mika Masuda writes and gives lectures on women’s healthcare and medical information from the perspective of the individuals affected. She is also a breast cancer survivor and is involved in cancer and cancer screening awareness activities. Her books include “Patient Power: How Not to Be Neglected by Doctors and Die” (Kodansha), “No More Enduring! Women’s Choices for Intimate Health Issues After 40” (Okura Publishing), “The Power of Female Hormones” (Daiwa Bunko), and many others.
She serves as a Director at the NPO “Women’s Medical Network”, Vice President of the NPO “Breast Cancer Imaging Network (BCIN)”, President of the NPO “Everyone’s Kampo”, and is a member of the NPO Japan Medical Journalists Association.
