1984年東京大学医学部を卒業後、東大病院産婦人科に入局。1992年米国国立衛生研究所（NIH）に留学。2004年東京大学医学部産婦人科講師、2010年聖路加国際病院女性総合診療部部長、2012年同院副院長、2022年総合母子保健センター愛育病院院長。日本産科婦人科学会専門医、日本生殖医学会専門医、日本産科婦人科内視鏡学会技術認定医、日本女性医学学会専門医。NPO法人日本子宮内膜症啓発会議理事長、日本産前産後子育て支援学会副理事長など。
After graduating from the University of Tokyo School of Medicine in 1984, joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tokyo Hospital. In 1992, studied abroad at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH). In 2004, became an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tokyo School of Medicine, and in 2010, became the Director of the Women’s Comprehensive Care Department at St. Luke’s International Hospital. In 2012, appointed Vice Director of the hospital, and in 2022, became the President of the Aiku Hospital, a comprehensive maternal and child health center. Certified specialist by the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Japan Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Japan Society for Obstetric and Gynecological Endoscopy, and the Japan Society for Women’s Medicine. Also serves as the Chairperson of the Japan Endometriosis Awareness Association and the Vice Chairperson of the Japan Society for Maternity and Childcare Support.
